7th June 2013 – SDI Global Solutions, a global provider for expert DITA and XML services and solutions, and DeltaXML, a UK-based company with practical experience in both change management technologies and XML, have signed a partnership agreement for strategic cooperation and representation. Both parties work with companies that appear on the Fortune 500 list.
The global coverage of SDI combined with the XML focus of DeltaXML is a perfect match, bringing added value for both companies. “We are delighted to team up with DeltaXML, which not only allows SDI to further expand its capabilities with its Ateneo Hosted Information Solution in use with clients operating globally, but also to closely collaborate in further developing modular, XML-based versioning and tracking of changes in content, “said Hans Garritzen, VP of Business Development for SDI Europe.
“Sharing in the development and extension of the applications of XML is key driver for DeltaXML, where the commercial advantages to the clients’ business and operations can be clearly identified and added-value secured,“, added Nick Mongston, Business Development at DeltaXML Limited.
DeltaXML has contributed to the development of XML standards for office documents over the past few years through British Standards Institute (BSI), as members of the Document Management Group of Intellect, and as members of OASIS where they were active in the OpenDocument Format (ODF) technical committee and their work on change tracking in XML has now been taken forward with a new W3C Community Group.
