Packages

com.deltaxml.sync.filters	This package provides SAX event based filter implementations.
com.deltaxml.sync.jaxp	This package provides the core synchronization capability for JAXP-based pipelines or systems.
com.deltaxml.sync.pipelined	This package provides an easy to use system for constructing XML pipelines which contain a DeltaXML Synchronizer.

This API provides synchronization operations on XML tree structures. It is one of a family of products from DeltaXML.com

Prerequisites

This API requires/includes:

• A Java 2 JDK (or J2SDK) version 1.4 or above or for runtime use only, a JRE, version 1.4 or later.
• An XSLT 2.0 compliant JAXP implementation.

We include a copy of saxon8.jar from Michael Kay's Saxon (version 8.8) release. It was the only XSLT 2.0 implementation available during DeltaXML Sync development.

We recommend that new users start with the com.deltaxml.sync.pipelined package. This provides an API which is easy to use. It is an 80/20 type solution; whilst it does not provide the complete power/flexibility of JAXP, it is easier to use for a wide variety of use-cases.
