Do we really need a Move ? That could be easily represented by a
deletion and insertion making the spec much more simpler.


We have tried to make Move as close as possible to add and delete. Further work that we have been doing suggests that a simpler representation is possible, where the Move info is in fact just additional data and could be ignored by an application that cannot handle it. This would make Move just like a delete and add except that additional info indicated that these are linked.

It would also be good if we could apply move to elements, e.g. paragraphs, and also to text and even merge/split constructs. If we keep the Move as optional info then it can be written out by an application that knows about moves but ignored by one that does not. We are working on this in the next version - thanks for your challenge!
